Italian marque Ducati has unveiled the new Multistrada V4 RS, a track-oriented variant of its Multistrada line-up with substantial upgrades. It features a high-performance engine, sticky Pirelli tyres, a performance-oriented clutch, fully adjustable premium suspension, and a stunning RS Livery.

Ducati Multistrada V4 RS: The Heart

At the core of the V4 RS is a MotoGP-derived 1,103cc, V4, liquid-cooled Desmosedici Stradale engine, producing 180PS (10PS more than the standard Multistrada V4) at 12,250rpm and 118Nm of torque at 9,500rpm. This engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox, shared with the Panigale and Streetfighter models. Additionally, the V4 RS features technology like the Panigale V4 R and Panigale V4 SP's STM Evo-SBK dry clutch in billet aluminum. It is equipped with an Akrapovic titanium muffler and stainless steel pre-silencer, complying with EU 5+ regulations.

Ducati Multistrada V4 RS: Electronics, Specifications, and Features

The Multistrada V4 RS boasts Ohlins USD front forks (with compression and rebound damping) and a TTX36 mono-shock (featuring pre-load, compression, and rebound damping). Both suspension units are electronically adjustable and incorporate Ohlins Smart EC 2.0 event-based mode. The bike also comes equipped with dual 330mm semi-floating discs with Brembo Styalema callipers at the front, a 265mm single disc with a Brembo floating calliper, Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV Corsa 120/70 ZR17 front tyre, and Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV Corsa 190/55 ZR17 rear tyre, all mounted on forged Marchesini wheels.

Other features include a 6.5-inch colour TFT display, quick shifter, various ride modes (Race, Sport, Touring, and Urban), power modes (Full, High, Medium, and Low), cornering ABS, traction control, wheelie control, vehicle hold control, as well as radar-based adaptive cruise control and blind spot detection.

The Multistrada V4 RS also introduces new components, such as a carbon fibre front mudguard, beak, and hand guards. It comes with a titanium sub-frame and a lighter, more compact battery to reduce weight.

Ducati Multistrada V4 RS: Pricing

With all the bells and whistles and technology derived from the Panigale and Streetfighter, the new Multistrada V4 RS costs a whopping £31,995 (approximately Rs 32.38 lakh) in the United Kingdom. That said, the new Multistrada V4 RS is expected to arrive in India in the coming months.
