New Hero Karizma XMR launched at Rs 1.73 lakh

Hero MotoCorp has taken the wraps off the hotly anticipated Karizma XMR, now available in India at an introductory price of Rs 1,72,900 (ex-showroom, Delhi). This new motorcycle showcases a revamped design, a liquid-cooled engine, a selection of distinctive and familiar colour choices, and a completely new platform.

New Hero Karizma XMR: Engine, Power Outputs, and Gearbox

At the heart of the new Karizma XMR, the bike manufacturer has integrated a 210cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled four-valve DOHC engine that is coupled with a six-speed gearbox. This potent powerplant generates 25.5PS at 9,250rpm and a peak torque of 20.4Nm at 7,250rpm. Notably, the adoption of a liquid-cooling system marks a significant milestone as the first of its kind on a Hero motorcycle.

New Hero Karizma XMR: Design and Colors

The latest Karizma XMR 210 boasts a sporty design that resonates strongly with the youth. It features distinct, sharp lines and creases, a sleek LED headlight that sits beneath an adjustable windscreen, and a split seat arrangement contributes to the bike's modern appeal. Further, the Karizma XMR 210 comes in three attractive colour choices: Iconic Yellow, Matte Phantom Black, and Turbo Red.

New Hero Karizma XMR: Features and Specifications

The Karizma XMR introduces a Bluetooth-enabled fully digital display, offering a comprehensive view of essential information such as speedometer, odometer, tachometer, trip meters, real-time mileage, gear position indicator, engine temperature, phone battery status, and more. The Bluetooth connectivity further enables turn-by-turn navigation and alerts for calls and SMS on the display. Backlit illumination enhances the switchgear, adding to the bike's modern appeal. Additionally, Hero has equipped the Karizma XMR with dual-channel ABS and a slip-and-assist clutch.

In terms of hardware, the motorcycle is outfitted with telescopic front forks, a rear monoshock with six-step preload adjustability, single front and rear disc brakes, 17-inch wheels, and an adjustable windscreen.

New Hero Karizma XMR: Competition

The new Hero Karizma XMR enters the ring with a formidable set of rivals, including the KTM RC 200, Suzuki Gixxer SF 250, Bajaj Pulsar RS200, and Yamaha R15 V4.
