New Jawa 42 dual-tone and updated Yezdi Roadster launched: Top highlights
Classic Legends' Jawa Yezdi recently introduced the updated Yezdi Roadster and a new variant dual-tone of the Jawa 42 in India at Rs 2.09 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 1.98 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively. While the 42 gets a new dual-tone variant with subtle enhancements, the Roadster features cruiser-like ergonomics and other updates.
2023 Yezdi Roadster: What is new?
Yezdi has updated ergonomics of the Roadster to make that more touring-friendly. It now features a taller handlebar and repositioned rider foot pegs, which are more forward-set by 155mm. Along with changes to its ergonomics, the motorcycle features new handlebar grips, new handlebar-mounted mirrors, tank grips, and diamond-cut alloy wheels.
In addition, the engine and exhaust are now finished in black. With this, the updated 2023 Yezdi Roadster is available in four paint schemes, namely Lunar White, Rush Hour Red, Shadow Grey, and Forest Green. Powering the updated Yezdi Roadster is the same 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that makes 29.5PS and 28.9Nm. This motor comes mated to a six-speed gearbox. It takes on the likes of the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 and Honda CB Hness 350.
2023 Jawa 42: Dual-tone colours and fresh additions
The Jawa 42 is now available with four dual-tone colour options: Cosmic Rock, Starship Blue, Celestial Copper, and Infinity Black. On top of that, the bike gets a new fuel tank, new fenders, new clear lens indicators, new handlebar grips, updated belly pan, and reworked seat. Additionally, the new Jawa 42 dual-tone comes with a longer-travel rear suspension with an increased ground clearance. The 2023 Jawa 42 Dual Tone gets the same 294.7cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine generating 27.3PS and 26.8Nm of torque. This unit is coupled to a six-speed gearbox. Meanwhile, the Jawa 42 competes against the Honda CB350 RS and Royal Enfield Hunter 350.
