New Maruti Suzuki Invicto official bookings open in India; launch on 5 July

Maruti Suzuki has officially commneced bookings for its upcoming three-row MPV, the Invicto, in India. The Maruti Invicto is based on the Toyota Innova Hycross. To be launched on 5 July, 2023, the carmaker will sell the new MPV via Nexa dealerships, which also sells the Grand Vitara, Baleno, Ignis, Ciaz, and XL6. With this, customers can now book the Invicto MPV via its official website or by visiting any nearest Nexa dealership for Rs 25,000.

New Maruti Suzuki Invicto MPV: Exterior

Although the Invicto MPV is based on the Innova Hycross, Maruti's version will feature a fresh front to differentiate it from its counterpart. The Invicto MPV, as seen in the previous spy pictures, the grille will feature two horizontal chrome slats adjoining the headlights. There are also likely to be distinctive taillamps, new front and rear bumpers, and a new set of alloy wheels. Apart from that, the Invicto will carry forward the same design.

On the inside, the Invicto MPV is expected to come with a fresh upholstery. The overall cabin styling, however, will remain identical to the Toyota Innova Hycross interior. The key highlights of the interior will include powered second-row seats, multi-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, a digital instrument cluster, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, powered front-row seat with ventilation function, USB fast charging ports, and connected car tech. Meanwhile, the Invicto could become the first Maruti Suzuki car to feature Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).

It is believed that the upcoming new Maruti Invicto will be only powered by a 2.0-litre strong-hybrid petrol powertrain paired with an e-CVT automatic transmission.

While the prices of the Innova Hycross start from Rs 18.55 lakh (ex-showroom) and go up to Rs 29.99 lakh (ex-showroom), Maruti could price the Invicto competitively. Upon launch, it will take on the Kia Carens, Toyota Innova Hycross, and Toyota Innova Crysta.
