New Royal Enfield Bobber 350 spied testing again
The Royal Enfield Bobber 350 has been spotted testing once again in India, revealing a handful of fresh details about the Classic 350-based motorcycle. With competitors, such as the new Triumph Speed 400 and Harley-Davidson X440 gaining popularity, Royal Enfield is likely planning to launch its new offerings in the coming months. In fact, the bike maker is already working on numerous products based on its 350cc and 650cc platforms, along with an entirely new range of 450cc motorcycles.
Highlights of the New Royal Enfield Bobber 350
The latest spy pictures show some distinct design elements on the recently spotted Bobber 350, including whitish strips on the rims. Notably, the motorcycle features a new LED headlamp, LED indicators, and a Meteor 350-inspired LED taillight. Additional highlights include a bobber-style slash-cut exhaust, a tyre hugger, and a tallboy handlebar.
Specs and Features of the New Royal Enfield Bobber 350
Based on the spy pictures, the upcoming Bobber 350 is expected to come equipped with conventional telescopic front forks, a rear dual-spring setup, and single-disc brakes on both ends, likely 300mm at the front and 270mm at the rear, paired with dual-channel ABS. To offer a modern touch, the motorcycle could feature the Hunter and Meteor-inspired semi-digital instrument cluster, departing from the Classic 350-style unit.
Powertrain of the New Royal Enfield Bobber 350
The Royal Enfield Bobber 350 will be powered by the J-series 349cc, air/oil-cooled, single-cylinder motor, paired with a five-speed gearbox. This engine is also used in the Classic 350, Meteor 350, Hunter 350, and the upcoming new-gen Bullet 350. In the Classic 350, it produces 20.2PS at 6,100rpm and 27Nm of torque at 4,000rpm.
Prices and Rivals of the New Royal Enfield Bobber 350
The new Bobber 350 is expected to come with a higher premium compared to the currently available Classic 350, Hunter 350, and the upcoming all-new Bullet 350. It is estimated to be priced around Rs 2-2.30 lakh. As for rivals, the Royal Enfield Bobber 350 will compete against the Jawa 42 Bobber.
