New TVS NTorq 125 special edition teased
The new TVS NTorq 125 variant has been teased ahead of its imminent launch. It is expected to be dark or black edition variant similar to the recently introduced Apache RTR 160 4V and RTR 160 2V. The pre-bookings for this special variant are already open. That said, the sporty scooter is already available in a range of colours and a handful of special edition versions.
The upcoming new variant or a special edition NTorq 125 may get an all-black paint scheme with subtle graphics painted in contrasting shades. This paint scheme could feature matte finish across its bodywork. With this, the NTorq should look sportier and stand out in the crowd from the regular model.
Currently, the NTorq 125 comes in various colour schemes, such as Metallic Blue, Matte Red, Metallic Grey, and Metallic Red. On the other hand, the Race Edition version can be had in Race Edition Red and Race Edition Marine Blue, while the Super Squad Edition is available in four options: Stealth Black, Combat Blue, Lightning Grey, and Amazing Red. Then, the NTorq Race XP comes in a Race Red Black paint job.
Powering the NTorq 125 is a 124.8cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine producing 9.38PS and 10.6Nm, while the Race XP generates marginaly higher output of 10.2PS and 10.9Nm.
The new NTorq 125 special edition is likely to attract a higher premium over the on-sale models and could be sold alongside the range-topping Race XP variant. Meanwhile, it takes on the Suzuki Avenis, Aprilia SR 125, Honda Dio 125, and Yamaha Ray ZR 125.
