Nissan Magnite facelift launch tomorrow: What should you expect?
Nissan is gearing up to launch the updated Magnite in India tomorrow. This will be the first major update to the Magnite since its launch in December 2020. Pre-bookings for the upcoming Magnite facelift are currently underway for a nominal fee of Rs 11,000. Here's what you should expect from the Nissan Magnite facelift.
Nissan Magnite Facelift: Exterior
The upcoming Magnite facelift will feature reasonably minor styling updates. As seen in some previous spy pictures, it is expected to get a larger grille adjoining the headlights and a new front bumper. Then, the LED headlamps and daytime driving lights may come with a new layout. On the other hand, the Magnite facelift could come with redesigned taillights and a new rear bumper. Additionally, there could be newly designed alloy wheels.
The on-sale model comes in a variety of colours, but Nissan could offer a couple of fresh paint schemes to keep it looking fresh. The existing shades include Blade Silver, Sandstone Brown, Onyx Black, Storm White, and Flare Garnet Red, along with four dual-tone colours.
Nissan Magnite Facelift: Interior & Features
Although the interior changes of the Magnite facelift remain under the cover, expect subtle to moderate updates to the dashboard and centre console. Nissan is likely to offer a new all-digital instrument cluster, an updated 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, fast charging USB Type-C or Type-A ports, updated connected car functions and telematics, and ventilated seats.
It could also boast a few new features and carried over the same from the outgoing model, such as a sunroof, six airbags, ESP, ABS with EBD, hill start assist, puddle lamps, air purifier, wireless charging pad, cruise control, traction control, vehicle stability management, hydraulic brake assist, TPMS, LED projector headlights, and more.
Nissan Magnite Facelift: Powertrain
The upcoming Magnite facelift is expected to carry over the same 1.0-litre, naturally aspirated petrol engine with 72PS/96Nm and 1.0-litre, three-cylinder, turbocharged petrol unit with 100PS/160Nm. Transmission options should also remain unchanged, such as a five-speed manual, an AMT, and a CVT automatic.
Nissan Magnite Facelift: Price & Rivals
Currently, the Magnite prices range between Rs 5.99 lakh and Rs 10.66 lakh (ex-showroom). The upcoming model is expected to attract a higher premium over the on-sale model. New prices may start at Rs 6.30 to Rs 6.50 lakh and go up to Rs 10.99 to Rs 11.40 lakh.
