Paralympics medalist and Arjuna awardee Deepa Malik to voice the AI assistant in the upcoming MG Astor

In the forthcoming SUV MG Astor, MG Motor India, a disruptor in the Indian automotive sector, intends to provide a unique voice experience with a personal AI assistant. MG announced that the voice for the same will be provided by the paralympic athlete and Khel Ratna Awardee Dr Deepa Malik.

Deepa has earned the nickname "The Woman on Wheels" and in the soon-to-be-released SUV MG Astor, the lady extraordinary will personalise the voice of the personal AI assistant. It's another step toward establishing the automaker as an innovator in the field of automotive technology.

Deepa Malik, the first Indian woman Paralympic Medalist, said, "I am delighted to be the voice of the next MG SUV. I have closely followed MG's journey in India, and I applaud their vision. MG has not only led the disruption in the automotive industry, but it has contributed to the empowerment of different sections of society. It is commendable that MG's one-third of the active workforce is women. I am confident that MG will emerge as a champion with the industry-leading features of Astor."

With several firsts such as the internet-connected vehicle Hector, pure electric SUV ZS EV, and autonomous Level I SUV Gloster, MG has pioneered the Indian automotive market. For another industry first automobile, the MG Astor with a personal AI assistant, it was only natural for MG to choose Deepa Malik, who has a long list of firsts to her credit.
