Porsche 918 Spyder spotted with Martini livery

That test runs of the 918 Spyder are in full swing is a known thing, however, Porsche have now decked the test mule in a distinctive Martini livery. The 1971 Le Mans 24 hours winner Porsche 917 had the same livery and the new 918 Spyder is said to be a tribute to it.

With a combined power of 780PS from its IC engine and electric motors on the rear axle, the 918 Spyder's primary goal is to cover the 20.8km NÃ¼rburgring-Nordschleife race circuit in less than seven minutes 22 seconds. Porsche claims that the 918 Spyder will be very fuel efficient â" delivering 33kmpl with an acceleration time of three seconds to 100 kmph from naught.
