Porsche appoints dealer in Kochi
Porsche India has appointed EVM Premium Cars India Pvt. Ltd. as its eighth dealer in India and the first in the state of Kerala. Ever since the re-launch of its retail operations in India last year, Porsche has been constantly increasing its footprint across the country.
Porsche India already has dealers in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Mumbai
The Kochi dealership comes as an addition to the already present dealers in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Mumbai. In all of these locations, customers will see the opening of world-class Porsche Centres in the coming months, with the first facility planned to open in Mumbai in August.
Porsche India is a division of Volkswagen Group Sales India Private Limited, with headquarters in Mumbai. Porsche's range of sport luxury cars sold in India include the iconic 911, Boxster, Cayman, Cayenne and Panamera.

The Kochi facility is to be located in the Kochi Bypass Maradu. Work on the new showroom is set to begin in September this year with an opening planned for mid-2014. Starting August, Porsche will be working out of a temporary Kalamassery facility.
