HOP Electric Mobility Eyes Exponential Growth; Plans to Set up Second Manufacturing Facility, and Expand in Multiple Cities across India
Underlining its ultimate vision to provide greener, sustainable and ecologically sound two-wheelers, HOP Electric Mobility has become one of India's fastest growing electric vehicle manufacturers, setting foot across cities in India. Already revolutionising the hitherto Indian e-mobility space by launching two unique products HOP LEO and HOP LYF, the brand is now planning to expand its presence in multiple states, including Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar and West Bengal.
Manufacturing Facility and Capacity Expansion â" HOP Electric Mobility, currently has a manufacturing unit in Jaipur with a production capacity of 50,000 number of vehicles per year. Further with the upcoming new launches and anticipated demand increased, the company has started work on another facility to add manufacturing capacity of 1.5 Lacs units per year by February 2022.
As the fuel prices of conventional sources are skyrocketing and the world is becoming increasingly conscious of environmental degradation, HOP Electric Mobility is providing affordable, renewable and easy-to-use solutions. The brand has recently signed up with 30 dealers across India & expected to be operational by September 2021 and plans for 70 more partnerships by the end of December 2021.

It is pertinent to mention that HOP electric vehicles come with noteworthy features, including parking assistance, side stand sensors, USB charging points, three ride modes with reverse mode, LED console, dual disc brakes, remote key, anti-theft alarm and wheel lock, and additional accessories like internet and GPS connectivity.
Hop Energy Network-Â HOP Electric Mobility is also planning to come up with a first electric vehicle segment, called the Hop Energy Network. It will have built-in battery swapping cum charging stations where the customer will be able to replace their discharged battery with a fully charged battery in just 30 seconds. Hop's energy network started taking up the shape as the testing continued. In January 2021, HOP's pilot network with 5 Swapping stations and 50 Batteries started operation in Jaipur.
HOP Electric Mobility Private Limited was founded by Ketan Mehta, Nikhil Bhatia and Rahil Gupta.  Ketan is the CEO, while Nikhil and Rahil are looking after Operations and Product management, respectively. Hop is now a 25+ member team with Vivek Tomar joined as a Business Head, Rajneesh Singh as Head of Marketing, Avinash Choudhary as North India Regional manager, among others.
