Second season of Toyota Etios Motor Racing Trophy begins July 19
Toyota Kirloskar Motor have officially announced that the second season of  the Etios Motor Racing Trophy (EMR), will commence with a round at the Kari Motor Speedway in Coimbatore, on 19 and 20 July, 2014. The series will be run as a part of the third and fifth rounds of the National Racing Championship. In its second iteration the season will witness existing and new EMR drivers competing for the title.

EMR cars from the first season, which was held both at the Madras Motor Racing Track and the Buddh International Circuit last year are now on display in select dealerships in Coimbatore  and Kerala.

The EMR platform has helped talented young racers develop their motoring skills, and further trained them to gain a competitive edge for their future. Toyota Etios Motor Racing Announces the Opening of its Second Season à Etios Motor Racing Trophy to be a part of the FMSCI National Racing Championship 2014 23rd June, 2014, New Delhi: After the success of the inaugural Etios Motor Racing (EMR) Trophy in 2013, Toyota Kirloskar Motor today announced its return to the race circuits with the 2014 season of EMR Trophy. The EMR drivers will compete against each other for the second edition of the EMR Trophy to be held as a part of the National Racing Championship this year. Scheduled to be a part of the third & fifth round of the National Racing Championship, the first round of the EMR trophy for 2014 will take place on the 19th and 20th of July at the Kari Motor Speedway in Coimbatore. This is the first time EMR Trophy will be held in Coimbatore. Commenting on the announcement, Mr. N. The new EMR driver line up which consists of a mix of existing and new EMR drivers, will compete for the title this year. The inaugural EMR trophy which was held at the Buddh International Circuit in Greater Noida last year saw Diljith as its first champion whereas Akhil Rabindra and Varun Anekar finished in the second and third places respectively. The EMR cars are now on display in select dealerships in South (Coimbatore & Kerala) and contests are being run in these dealerships to provide people with a chance to experience the EMR cars on the track.
