Skoda Onyx 1.0l automatic launched at Rs 13.49 lakh
Skoda Auto India has launched the Kushaq Onyx automatic in India at Rs 13.49 lakh (ex-showroom). With this, it becomes the most affordable automatic transmission variant of the Kushaq. Earlier the Kushaq Ambition AT was the most affordable at Rs 15.84 lakh (ex-showroom). Introduced in 2023, the Onyx edition of the SUV was available only with a manual gearbox option.
Skoda Onyx automatic: Design & Interior
The Onyx AT sits between the Kushaq Active and Kushaq Ambition variants. Although it is based on the Active variant, Skoda has given it features available in the higher variants, such as LED headlamps integrated with daytime driving lights, fog lights with a static cornering function, a rear wiper, and defogger. The Onyx AT continues with Tecton wheel covers and 'Onyx' badging on the B-pillars.
On the inside, the Onyx AT comes with additional features. There is a hill hold control, paddle shifters, a two-spoke, multifunction, leather-wrapped steering wheel, touch capacitive panel for temperature control, and scuff plates with Onyx lettering. In addition, the cabin gets Onyx-theme cushions, textile mats, and six airbags as standard.

The Onyx AT comes powered the 1.0-litre, inline three-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine producing 115PS and 178Nm of torque. This motor, in the Kushaq Onyx AT edition, is now also mated to a six-speed torque-convertor automatic transmission alongside the six-speed manual gearbox.
