Skoda Slavia, Kushaq prices slashed
Skoda has carried out significant changes to its MQB-A0-IN-based models, the Kushaq and Slavia in India. Both models have received a massive price drop and renamed variants. The Active, Ambition, and Style variants have been replaced by new Classic, Signature, and Prestige. It is to be noted that the new lower prices of the Kushaq and Slavia are applicable only for a limited period.
Skoda Kushaq & Slavia new prices
To begin with, the prices of the entry-level variants of the Slavia have been dropped by up to Rs 94,000. Whereas, the remaining variants have seen a price increase by up to Rs 36,000 â" depending on the variant. On the flip side, the Kushaq has received a massive price cut of up to Rs 2.19 lakh. Unlike the Slavia, the Kushaq does not get a price hike.
Apart from that, both models continue to carry over the same features, engines, and transmissions. The Kushaq also retains its special versions: Onyx and Monte Carlo. While the former does not get any price cut, Skoda has slashed the price of the latter significantly.
Skoda Kushaq & Slavia powertrain
The Slavia sedan and Kushaq SUV come powered by the 1.0-litre, inline three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that generates 115PS and 178Nm of torque and 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol unit producing 150PS and 250Nm. Transmission options include a six-speed manual, a six-speed torque-convertor automatic, and a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic.
In other news, Volkswagen is also offering big discounts on its range, including the Taigun, Virtus, and Tiguan. These offers comprise cash benefits, exchange bonuses, loyalty bonuses, corporate discounts, and more. In fact, the brand has even slashed prices of its top-of-the-line Taigun variants.
