Spec comparison: Hyundai Creta N Line vs Kia Seltos X Line
Hyundai has recently extended its N Line variant to the Creta as well, making the already very successful mid-size SUV even more exciting to consider. N Line doesn't mean that the Creta gets a full-blown 'N' treatment from Hyundai's sporting division but rather a more aesthetically aggressive-looking appearance. Now this segment already has a car with a more sporty appeal and surprisingly it is the Creta's South Korean cousin, the Kia Seltos X Line. Let's take a look at what are the key differences between these 2 sporty SUVs.
Hyundai Creta N Line vs Kia Seltos X Line: Exterior
The Creta N Line gets three single-tone colours - Titan Grey Matte, Abyss Black Pearl, and Atlas White and 3 dual-tone paint schemes are available, including Thunder Blue, Shadow Grey, and Atlas White with an Abyss Black roof. The car features a redesigned front end with an N Line-spec front grille, N Line logo redesigned front and rear bumpers with red inserts, new 18-inch alloy wheels, red-painted front and rear brake callipers, red inserts on the side sills, a dual-tip exhaust, and N Line badges at the front, side, and rear.
On the other hand, the Kia Seltos X-Line facelift presents an Xclusive Matte Graphite paint scheme. The manufacturer has replaced chrome accents on the SUV with black elements. Additionally, a new front bumper with a black skid plate enhances its exterior look. Internally, the X-Line integrates a combination of black and green inserts. It also gets 18-inch crystal cut gloss black alloy wheels.
Hyundai Creta N Line vs Kia Seltos X Line: Powertrain
Powering the Creta N Line is a 1.5-litre inline four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine that produces 160PS and 253Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a six-speed manual and a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
The Seltos X Line offers the exact same powertrain but strictly with the 7-speed DCT. The X Line does have one trick up its sleeve and that is the availability of a diesel engine. The 1.5-litre four-cylinder diesel unit coupled with a six-speed automatic transmission delivers 116PS and 250Nm of torque.
Hyundai Creta N Line vs Kia Seltos X Line: Interior and Features
