Tata Harrier Facelift launched in India, prices start from Rs 15.49 lakh
Tata Motors has finally launched the much-awaited Tata Harrier facelift and introductory prices for this updated SUV start from Rs 15.49 lakh. The refreshed SUV will be available in four variants: Smart, Pure, Adventure, and Fearless across seven colour options. The Harrier automatic range starts from Rs 19.99 lakh.
Tata Harrier Facelift: Design and Colours
The Curvv idea inspires the Harrier's significant design makeover and looks stylish. It receives a new closed grille with silver inlays and a linked LED DRL that covers the width of the vehicle. The triangular housing below it houses modern LED headlights and fog lamps. The bumper has also been modified, adding to the overall aggressive appearance.
Aside from the freshly styled wheels and 'Harrier' badging on the front doors, no substantial alterations have been made to the profile. In the back, you'll find a new set of linked LED tail lights as well as a redesigned bumper.
The updated Harrier is available in seven paint options: Pebble Grey, Coral Red, Sunlit Yellow, Lunar White, Oberon Black, Ash Grey, and Seaweed Green. In addition, Tata also offers it with the Dark Edition version.
Tata Harrier Facelift: Powertrain
The Tata Harrier's 170PS 2-litre diesel engine is still paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. If you want to take matters into your own hands, the latter now includes paddle shifters. In terms of fuel economy, the manual claims 16.8kmpl while the automatic claims 14.6kmpl.
Tata Harrier Facelift: Interior and Features
Step inside the revamped Harrier and you'll see a dashboard with more clean lines and design features. It keeps the floating infotainment system, with a bigger 12.3-inch unit than the Nexon EV. The elegant AC vents and touch-based controls for the new dual-zone temperature control capabilities are located just underneath it.
A redesigned four-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata emblem and a Land Rover-inspired gear lever for the automatic model are among the other cosmetic modifications. The driving mode selector has also been modified with an in-between display.
The updated Harrier gets a dual-zone temperature control, a 10-speaker JBL sound system, a 10.25-inch all-digital instrument cluster, ambient lighting, a 45W USB port, rear window sunblinds, comfort headrests in the rear, a powered tailgate with gesture opening, powered front seats, ventilated seats and of course wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Safety features include a knee airbag (total of 7), electronic stability control, ADAS, TPMS and a 360-degree camera.
