Tata Nexon EV prices slashed: Variant-wise price list revealed

Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd (TPEM), a subsidary of Tata Motors, has significantly reduced prices of its two electric vehicles (EV) the Nexon EV and Tiago EV. Both models have received a price revision up to Rs 1.20 lakh and Rs 70,000, respectively, depending on the variant.

As a result, the new prices of the electric SUV now start at Rs 14.49 lakh, while the prices of the Long Range Nexon with a claimed range of 465km has been priced from Rs 16.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Whereas, the Tiago EV is now available from Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom). It is to be noted that the introductory prices of the new Punch EV will remain unchanged.

Tata Nexon EV: Range, Power, & Charging

The Nexon EV gets a new generation electric motor. Plus, the Mid range (MR) and Long range (LR) versions now deliver an increased range of 325km and 465km, respectively. The new motor coupled to a 30.2kWh battery pack makes 129PS, whereas it produces 145PS when paired with the 40.5kWh unit. But, the torque output of 215Nm remains identical, irrespective of the battery capacity. The Nexon EV also features vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) and vehicle-to-load (V2L) features available with premium electric vehicles (EVs), allowing users to charge their electronic appliances, gadgets, tools, as well as other EVs.
