Tata Tiago achieves five lakh unit sales milestone
Indian automaker Tata Motors has announced that the Tiago has attained an important 5,00,000 unit sales milestone. On the occasion, the carmaker celebrated the achievement with the roll out at its Sanand plant in Gujarat. Interestingly, the last one lakh units of the Tiago were sold in claimed 15 months. The Tiago offers versatility in terms of powertrain choices. It comes with a choice of petrol, CNG, and, more importantly, all-electric forms. The Tiago NRG, on the other hand, is also available in a choice of petrol and CNG options.
Tata Tiago 5 lakh unit sales milestone
According to Tata Motors, the customers of Tiago have an average age of 35 years. In fact, female buyers contribute about 10 per cent of its total sales. As claimed, the Tiago is also in demand for customers who are first-time buyers, which constitutes approximately 71 per cent in financial year 2023. Further, about 60 per cent of the hatchback sales come from urban markets, while the rest 40 per cent represent rural markets.
Tata Tiago Petrol, Tiago NRG, Tiago iCNG, and Tiago EV Prices
The prices of the Tata Tiago starts from Rs 5.60 lakh (ex-showroom) and go up to Rs 7.76 lakh (ex-showroom). Whereas, the Tiago NRG prices range between Rs 6.68 lakh and Rs 8.81 lakh (both ex-showroom). The prices for its CNG-powered version start from Rs 6.50 lakh and go up to Rs 8.11 lakh (both ex-showroom). The all-electric Tiago EV is also available is a range of variants. Its prices start from Rs 8.69 lakh (ex-showroom), while the range-topping variant costs Rs 11.54 lakh (ex-showroom).
