The baby Range Rover Evoque gets updated for 2024
Land Rover has revised the Range Rover Evoque for 2024, with an external revamp and an interior refresh inspired by the full-size Range Rover. The car also gets technology changes as part of the MY24 update, as well as upgraded mild and plug-in hybrid powertrains. The Range Rover Evoque is the entry-level model into the Land Rover portfolio.
2024 Range Rover Evoque: Design
On the outside, there are just minor aesthetic alterations. The aesthetic features include a trapezium-shaped meshed front grille, Pixel-1 LED headlights, trademark LED DRLs, and a revised bumper.
The side and back profiles have remained unchanged, but its colour palette has been expanded to include three new shades: Arroios Grey, Tribeca Blue, and Corinthian Bronze. Narvik Black and Corinthian Bronze are two colour options for the dual-tone roof. You also receive eight new alloy wheel styles with up to 21 inches in size.
2024 Range Rover Evoque: Powertrains
While the complete lineup is now equipped with a 48-V mild-hybrid system, the plug-in hybrid powertrain has been improved for efficiency. The P300e electric hybrid is powered by a 14.9kWh battery pack that is linked to a 3-cylinder, 1.5-litre petrol engine. They produce 313PS and 540Nm of torque and have a WLTP-claimed range of up to 62km.
The Diesel powertrains include a D165 and D200. Both cars feature 2.0-litre units that produce 163PS and 204PS respectively. As for the remaining Petrol power plants, the P200 and P250 feature a 2.0-litre engine that produces 200PS and 250PS respectively. Of course, even though this is a baby Range Rover, all powertrains are coupled to an all-wheel-drive (AWD) system.
2024 Range Rover Evoque: Interior and Features
The interior of the Evoque has a new 11.4-inch curved glass infotainment panel with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The touchscreen device, which runs JLR's latest-generation Pivi Pro interface, now integrates all fundamental functions, including temperature settings. The revised centre console also features a new gear lever.
In addition to these features, the Evoque now has a new PM2.5 air filtration system, a 3D-surround camera, and Amazon Alexa 10 voice commands. There is also a remote app that allows remote locking and unlocking and interior pre-conditioning.
2024 Range Rover Evoque: India
At present, the Range Rover Evoque sold in India is priced at Rs 72.09 lakh (ex-showroom). We will receive the updated model most probably towards the end of the year, but it will be priced higher than the current model.
