Toyota Land Cruiser 300 launched for Rs 2.31 crore
Toyota has launched the Land Cruiser 300 for Rs 2.31 crore for the base ZX variant and the top GR-S variant will set you back by 2.41 crore, all prices are ex-showroom. Booking for the LC 300 are now open on the official website. The new model is Rs 21 lakh dearer than the outgoing model.
The Land Cruiser 300 is powered by 3.3-litre V6 diesel engine mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. The engine pushes 308.7PS at 4000 rpm and 700 Nm of peak torque at 1600-2600 rpm. The LC300 uses an all-wheel drive system which rotates all the four wheels. The ZX variant rides on 20-inch alloys, whereas the GR-S variant uses 18-inch wheels.
It terms of off-road riding aids, the LC300 comes with adaptive variable suspension, limited slip differential, front and rear differential locks, crawl control, downhill assist control, hill-start assist control, multi-terrain select, active traction control, four cameras with multi-terrain monitor and panoramic view monitor to name a few.
The safety kit for the LC300 includes ADAS with pre-collision system, lane departure alert, radar cruise control, lane tracing assist, adaptive high-beam system, engine immobiliser, 10-airbags, 360-degree panoramic view monitor, vehicle stability control, speed sensing door lock, impact sensing door unlock, blind spot monitor and tyre pressure monitor system to name a few.
When it comes to the interiors, the LC300 comes with leather upholstery, electronic parking brake, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, four-zone climate control, 14-speaker sound system, 8-way power adjustable front seats, wireless charger for front seats, heads-up display, 12.3-inch infotainment display and sunroof to name a few.
The LC300 has a 240 mm ground clearance and a fuel tank capacity of 110-litres. Now, this one does not have a direct rival but at this price point, the Mercedes-AMG G 63, Land Rover Defender, and Land Rover Range Rover can be considered as worthy alternatives.
