Triumph Tiger Sport 800 breaks cover

Triumph Motorcycles has revealed the new Tiger Sport 800 - a touring-friendly motorcycle that sits above the Tiger Sport 660. In the UK, the new Triumph Tiger Sport 800 is available to order from £10,995 OTR with motorcycles arriving in dealerships from March 2025.

Triumph Tiger Sport 800 Engine specifications

The Tiger Sport 800 features a new 798cc, three-cylinder engine that delivers 115PS power at 10,750 rpm and 84Nm of torque at 8,500rpm. In fact, 90 per cent of the torque is available throughout the mid-range. The motor is mated to a six-speed gearbox with a quickshifter.

The design language of the new Tiger Sport 800 looks fresh and sporty. However, there are some styling cues takes from the Tiger Sport 660. Key highlights include split LED headlights, a sizable windscreen, muscular fuel tank, sharp fairing. swept-up tail section, single-piece seat, and split grab rail, among others. Customers can choose from four colours options, namely including Sapphire Black, Graphite, Cosmic Yellow, and Caspian Blue.

Triumph has given it three riding modes (Sport, Road, and Rain), ride-by-wire, switchable traction control, cornering ABS all-LED lights, full digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, cruise control, and slip-and-assist clutch. The system calculates the motorcycle's lean angle from a six-axis inertial measurement unit (IMU) and automatically adjusts the level of intervention to deliver the optimum performance and control. The Tiger Sport 800 comes fitted with Showa 41mm upside down separate function cartridge forks with rebound and compression damping adjustment, a Showa rear monoshock with rebound damping and a remote hydraulic preload adjustment.

Like the recent new launches, the Tiger Sport 800 also gets Triumph branded radial-mounted, four-piston brake callipers and twin 310mm front discs along with a single piston sliding calliper and 255mm single rear disc. Then, there are cast aluminium wheels wrapped in Michelin Road 5 tyres. It has a seat height of 835mm.
