Ultraviolette F77 SuperStreet launched for Rs 2.99 lakh
The Ultraviolette F77 SuperStreet has been launched for Rs 2.99 lakh for the base variant and the top variant will set you back by Rs 3.99 lakh, both prices are ex-showroom. Bookings commence from 1st February and deliveries will begin from March.
The electric bike is powered by a 10.3/7.1 kWh battery that sits in the steel trellis from powering a motor that puts out 40.2/36.2 PS of power and 100/90 Nm of peak torque. The company claims a 0-100 km dash in under 7.7/7.8 seconds and a top speed of 155 kmph.
The bigger battery pack offers a range of 323 km and the smaller one offers 211 km on a full charge. There are two charging units on offer, the Standard 1.3 kW charger will take 5 hrs for a 20-80 per cent charge and the 3.0 kW boost charger does the same amount of charge in 2.5 hrs.
In flesh both bikes look identical, but the handlebar unit has been changed for the F77 SuperStreet, it comes with a wide handlebar which is 30 mm wider and 85 mm taller. This has revised the ergonomics of the bike. The rider now sits in a relaxed position with the rake of your back at 80 degrees. From 55 degrees on the F77 Mach 2, this one offers a street oriented riding position. Along with that, the rake of the TFT dash has been adjusted for a rider oriented position which negates the glare on the screen while riding under hard sun.
The cycle parts remain the same, the Ultraviolette F77 SuperStreet comes shod 17-inch wheels that wear MRF rubber, a 320 mm rotor upfront and 230 mm at the rear with dual-channel ABS, a 41 mm USD fork upfront with 110 mm of travel and a monoshock at the rear with 60 mm of travel, split seat setup, and neatly tucked grab rails under the pillion seat. Other mentions include 9 levels of regenerative braking, three levels of traction control, three riding modes, two interface themes for the dash and all LED lighting. The electric bike has a seat height of 800 mm, a ground clearance of 160 mm and weighs 210 kg.
The company is offering an optional 8 years or 8,00,000 km warranty on the battery and drivetrain, the 5 years or 1,00,000 km is a standard for both the variants. The
