Ultraviolette receives UNECE L3e certification; enters global market
Ultraviolette, an electric two-wheeler start-up, has announced that it has received the global certification under the 'United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE)' regulation for the F77 Mach 2. The electric motorcycle maker has received the L3e certification, granting approval for road use across 40 countries worldwide, including the European Union.
Following Germany and Turkey, Ultraviolette has commenced dispatches to the European Union, with several countries to follow suit post its showcase in EICMA 2024. Speaking of which, the company will be showcasing the future of electric mobility at EICMA in Milan, Italy between 5 and 10 November.
The F77 Mach 2 is approved for road use and can be used by A1 and A2 license holders across Europe and other global markets. In Europe, it will be priced at an introductory price of €9,990.

In other news, H D Kumaraswamy, Union Minister of Heavy Industries, Government of India, recently flagged off export of the F77 Mach 2 to Europe.
