Tata Nexon Facelift Powertrain
As for the powertrain, the Nexon facelift is likely to house a new petrol engine exhibited at the Auto Expo 2023. This 1.2-litre inline three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine is projected to generate 125PS and 225Nm of torque. It is expected to be paired with a new dual-clutch automatic transmission as well as a manual gearbox. In comparison, the current petrol motor produces 120PS and 170Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the updated SUV will retain the 1.5-litre inline four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine, coupled with a choice of a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission.
Tata Nexon Facelift Pricing
It is likely that the Nexon facelift will command a premium over the current Nexon. Hence, the prices are expected to start from Rs 8-8.50 lakh and extend up to 15-16 lakh. The existing Nexon model is priced between Rs 7.80 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 14.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
