Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line launched at Rs 48.99 lakh
The Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line has been launched at Rs 48.99 lakh(ex-showroom), with deliveries set to begin from April 23, 2025. The new Tiguan R-Line is powered by a 2.0-litre TSI EVO petrol engine that delivers 204PS power and 320Nm torque.
The engine is paired with a 7-speed DSG transmission and 4MOTION all-wheel drive. The exterior of the car is equipped with 19-inch Coventry alloy wheels, LED plus headlights and an illuminated rear LED strip. The interiors include illuminated "R" logos, ambient lighting (30 colours), a panoramic sunroof and comfort seats with massage and lumbar support.
The technology part of the car offers a 15-inch infotainment system, a 10.2 customisable digital cockpit, a multi-function experience switch with a TFT LCD display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and a head-up display. The SUV also features an IDA voice assistant and an 8-speaker sound system. In terms of safety, the Tiguan R-Line features 21 Level 2 ADAS functions, including adaptive cruise control, lane assist, front assist and rear traffic alert.
The safety kit includes nine airbags, hill start assist, hill descent control and a 5-star EURO NCAP safety rating. The Tiguan R-Line is supported by Volkswagen's 4EVER Care package, which includes a 4-year standard warranty, four-year roadside assistance and three free services.
The car will be available in six colour options - Persimmon Red Metallic, Cipressino Green Metallic, Nightshade Blue Metallic, Grenadilla Black Metallic, Oryx White Pearl and Oyster Silver Metallic.
