Volvo to premiere a new crossover today
Volvo is in the news again. After the Swedish company said that they have started production of their new-age four cylinder engines, the company has released three teaser videos on its YouTube channel about a mystery car unveil. Slated for a global premiere today, the tagline for the videos say "Leave the world behind". All the three videos have the Swedish Mafia band members in prominent positions.
Some guess work here then. The car that appears in the last video looks like an SUV or crossover. Though our hunch is the new XC60, the fact that Volvo premiered a facelift at the 2013 Geneva Auto Show discourages that thought. The bigger XC90 is not due until later this year as specified by Volvo officials at the same auto show. This leaves us with the Volvo V40. However a car which was debuted less than a year ago wouldn't be up for refresh so early.
