Yamaha Unveils the Lander 250. Tenere 700 and first Hybrid Motorcycle for India at Bharat Mobility Auto Expo 2025

Yamaha brought a slew of bikes for their exhibition at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo today under the theme "Aspirations Unveiled". They showcased their global product lineup with plans for India's future in 2-wheeler space.

The pavilion showcases the legendary RX-100 and RD-350 models which hold great significance in India's motorcycling history along with the very successful first-generation models of the YZF-R15 and the FZ series. This is accentuated by the 'History Arena' which tells the story of Yamaha's birth, growth and entry into India and the immense influence it has had in shaping India's motorcycle history.

Yamaha's MotoGP machine, the YZR-M1, takes centre stage at the Global Expo. With a legacy of over 500 podium finishes and championship victories in Moto GP, the M1 offers visitors a thrilling look into Yamaha's racing prowess. There is also an exclusive display of Moto GP riding gear of Fabio Quartararo and Alex Reins, including authentic racing suits, helmets, and gloves.

The flagship from Yamaha at this year's expo is the Y/AI Concept Motorcycle, which looks very futuristic and is inspired by the YZR-M1 and has been featured in the sci-fi anime, Tokyo Override, set 100 years in the future. The Y/AI Concept represents a world where AI is seamlessly integrated into urban life and mobility and offers a bold vision of Yamaha's future in mobility.

The Lander 250 and the much awaited latest Tenere 700 also broke cover in the adventure bike segment. The Lander 250 is a versatile bike suitable for both off-road and urban rides due to its agility and control. ​ The Tenere 700, a global icon is designed for tough trails, known for its rugged design, reliable handling, and durability.

The R Series also came to town with the showcase of R15, R3, and R7. The R series has been iconic due to its technical prowess and racing legacy making it a crowd stealer at the Expo.

The Yamaha MT Series, including the MT-15, MT-03, and MT-09, are also displayed at the Expo 2025. These sports bikes, inspired by "The Dark Side of Japan," feature powerful engines, agile handling, and bold designs. ​ They aim to provide thrilling experiences and encourage riders for motorsports.

Yamaha also unveiled its first hybrid motorcycle in India, the 2025 FZ-S Fi DLX. ​ It features an updated headlamp, dynamic tank design, new colour options. The bike features a Smart Motor Generator with Stop/Start and hybrid technology for a smooth engine experience. ​ It also includes a colour TFT instrument cluster with Turn-by-Turn navigation and integrated turn signals on the fuel tank. In the Hybrid Zone, Yamaha has displayed its 125cc FI Blue Core Engine and popular scooters like the RayZR, Fascino, and Filano. ​ These scooters now feature Smart Motor Generator (SMG) technology, providing fuel efficiency and high torque.

Aerox 155 Version S and N-MAX performance scooters with their sporty aesthetics and cutting-edge engineering are also an attraction at the Yamaha stall at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025.
