Maruti Suzuki has launched the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Brezza in India with more contemporary styling, a redesigned interior as well as new engine-gearbox combinations. The 2022 Brezza has received over 50,000 bookings since order books opened last week, despite a significant increase in price. The Brezza now costs between Rs 7 to 14 lakh. So is it really that good? We find out in our detailed review. The 2022 Maruti Suzuki Brezza is powered by the 1.5-litre K15C Dualjet four-cylinder petrol which puts out 103PS and 136.8 Nm. The mild-hybrid assistance will be standard across the range adding 3PS at 900rpm. The gearbox options a five-speed manual and the new six-speed torque-converter automatic with paddles. The LXi and VXi MT variants have a fuel efficiency of Rs 20.15 kmpl, the ZXi and ZXi MT return 19.89 kmpl and the VXi, ZXi and ZXi Plus AT return 19.80 kmpl. The new Brezza can be had in six single-tone and three dual-tone colours as well as two accessory styling packs. There are LXi, VXi, ZXi and ZXi Plus variants with the new auto available in all but the base model.
