Kia Seltos compact SUV showcased at Guangzhou Motor Show in China
Kia Seltos, compact SUV that made a global debut in August has now be showcased at the Guangzhou Motor Show, in China. However, the Koreans have dubbed the new compact SUV KX3.
Unlike the drivetrain options for the Seltos in India, the Chinese market only gets the 1.5-litre petrol engine mated to an eight-speed automatic gearbox which is not on offer in the Indian market. With a new gearbox married to the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated engine, the international spec Seltos has a claimed fuel efficiency of 18.51 kmpl. The peak power is rated at 115PS similar to the India spec Seltos. The Chinese spec Kia Seltos gets a front collision assist and an electronic parking brake.

KIA has also showcased K3 EV which is a mid-sized all-electric sedan. Futuron, which is a concept SUV coupe that publicly debuted earlier in November during the 2019 China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai. Also on display at the KIA pavilion are the K3 China Touring Car Championship (CTCC) racing car, Kia K3 mid-size sedan, the 2020 K5 PHEV sedan, the 2019 Kia KX5 SUV, and the Kia all-new Sportage SUV.
