Mahindra XUV500's infotainment system now comes with Apple CarPlay in India
Mahindra and Mahindra has updated the XUV500's infotainment system with Apple CarPlay connectivity. With this update, the Mahindra XUV500 features both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity in addition to its connected features like connected apps, emergency call and Ecosense. The company mentions that the existing owners of the XUV500 W11 can visit their nearest dealership and get their infotainment updated with Apple CarPlay free of cost.
Mahindra states that the XUV500 customers will have in-car access to hands-free telephony, Apple Music audio books, podcasts and CarPlay supported third-party audio applications. Further, the hands-free telephony feature will enable customers to make and receive phone calls on the move. The Mahindra XUV500 has become the third vehicle in the company's portfolio to come with Apple CarPlay after the Marazzo MPV and the XUV300 SUV.
