Tata Harrier, Altroz, Nexon and other portfolio cars can be now bought online
Indian automobile major Tata Motors has launched a digital platform for selling its portfolio of vehicles in India under the Click to Drive online platform. Prospective customers can not only make booking of their preferred Tata Motors vehicle online, but can also configure and choose to get it delivered at their doorstep. The company has tied up with more than 750 dealership outlets for the same.
Tata Motors has set up a dedicated Click to Drive website where the the prospective customers can select from the existing range of vehicles that includes the Tata Nexon, Tigor, Altroz, Tiago and the Harrier. One can view the details of the car on a video brochure that mentions all the features. The Imaginator, as one can imagine, offers factory customisations and also an option between colours and variants. Once everything is finalised, customers can choose their closest dealership from the 750+ options spread across the country. At a later stage, the company will also start doorstep delivery of the cars.
The online platform also offers the customers to pay the booking amount, which is confirmed by an e-mail by Tata Motors call centre and a sales consultant from their preferred dealership. Additionally, customers can avail financing and exchange services, details on price quotes and exciting offers on the Tata Motors product range. The entire sales process is completed virtually using online communication tools such as emails, WhatsApp and video calls.
Earlier this year, Hyundai launched a unique Click to Buy online platform to facilitate an easier and more convenient car purchase experience for its customers in India. The company has now added their latest offerings - the new-gen Creta SUV, Verna and also the Aura to this platform and has incorporated over 500 dealerships across the country.
