Maruti Suzuki S-Cross facelift image gallery
Maruti Suzuki is about to launch the facelifted S-Cross in India, and hopes that these changes and the updated price, will finally push the car up in the sales charts. Apart from the cosmetic updates to the exterior, Maruti Suzuki has also decided to drop the 1.6-litre turbo-diesel from the line-up, and instead offer just the 90PS/200Nm 1.3-litre turbo-diesel. However, they have added the SHVS (Smart Hybrid Vehicle by Suzuki) system in this car and claim increased fuel efficiency. We recently drove the facelifted Maruti S-Cross in Udaipur, and found that these updates make an already nice car, even nicer.
Here's a detailed look at the car through an image gallery from the first drive event:
The Maruti' new face give the car more character and presence
The new headlights on the top-spec variant of the Maruti Suzuki S-Cross are LED projectors
The horizontally-slatted chrome grille on the Maruti Suzuki S-Cross is the first change that catches your eye
From the side, the only change to the Maruti Suzuki S-Cross are the new 16-inch wheels
The Maruti Suzuki S-Cross' new wheels also get a broader set of 215/60 tyres
At the back, the most noticeable changes to the Maruti Suzuki S-Cross are the new taillight elements. However, the bumper's design has been slightly changed too
The updated elements on the Maruti Suzuki S-Cross do wrap up the rear much nicer than before
The Maruti Suzuki S-Cross will no longer be available with a 1.6-litre engine. It will now be sold only with this 1.3-litre turbo-diesel which features the SHVS mild hybrid system
There are almost no changes to the interior of the Maruti Suzuki S-Cross
The 7-inch touchscreen unit on the Maruti Suzuki S-Cross now supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
The instrument cluster on the Maruti Suzuki S-Cross receives a slight update with the Smart Hybrid detailing, and a gear-shift indicator on the display
Rear knee room and head room have always been sufficient in the Maruti Suzuki S-Cross
Overall, the Maruti Suzuki S-Cross, which was already a nice car, has become that much nicer
