Honda teases a new scooter, could be the Grazia BS6

Honda two-wheelers has released a teaser video of its upcoming scooter, which could be the Grazia BS6 scheduled to be launched in India shortly. Earlier this year, Honda had removed certain models as well as discontinued the others like the Navi and Cliq from its Indian portfolio. And now the company is gearing up to launch the BS6 iteration of the Grazia, which could be about Rs 8,000 more compared to the BS4 model.

Honda has tweaked the front with new LED pilot lamps along with a new cowl on the front apron

Launched in 2017, the Honda Grazia was positioned as a more premium offering compared to the Activa and was based on the Activa 125, priced at Rs 57,897. The following year, Honda sold a total of 1 lakh units in the less than 5 months of its launch, which did make this scooter one of the most popular offerings by Honda in India. To make it distinct, Honda equipped it with all-LED headlight, digital instrumentation along with a spacious utility space with provision to hold a phone as well. The Graza, back then, locked horns with the likes of Suzuki Access 125 and the Vespa VX 125.

Digital instrumentation along with other features will be carried over from the BS4 model

From the teaser videos, it can be seen that Honda has tweaked the front with new LED pilot lamps along with a new cowl on the front apron. Additionally, the scooter will sport blackened alloys and also new body graphics. Apart from these changes, the updated Grazia will carry forward the same design. Powering the scooter will be the BS6 compliant 125cc engine, which made 8.52PS of power and 10.54Nm of torque in its BS4 avatar. We expect these numbers to remain unchanged in the BS6 version as well. Rest of the features list too will be carried from the previous offering.
