TVS Motors launched the new NTorq 125 yesterday, at Rs 58,750. This marks the company's foray into the 125cc segment and TVS surely seems to have done its homework. The TVS NTorq 125 boasts of a number of innovative features, some of which are not even present in motorcycles. Powered by a 125cc, three-valve, air-cooled, single cylinder engine that produces 9.4PS and 10.5Nm, TVS claims the scooter can sprint upto a top speed of 95kmph. The NTorq borrows design cues from the TVS Graphite concept scooter that was showcased at the previous Auto Expo. TVS says the styling is inspired by a stealth aircraft

The styling is sharp and edgy, and TVS believes that this will appeal to the youth. The fit and finish looks good, at first glance and TVS has used a matte finish for all available colours

The switchgear is made of high quality materials and this is the first scooter in India to get an engine kill switch

The large, digital instrument console displays a plethora of information. It also features Bluetooth connectivity that allows you to pair your phone to the cluster, which then displays the name of the person who is calling as well as navigation assist, which displays the upcoming turn and distance to it. The cluster also displays oil temperature, lap-times, 0-60kmph time, average speed and a lot more

The petal disc is a segment first as well

The large, 22 litre under seat storage offers decent storage space and also has a USB, mobile charing port as standard
