Live updates: Lamborghini Urus SUV launch in India
Lamborghini is all set to launch the all-new Urus SUV in India. The 2018 Lamborghini Urus is an important SUV for the Italian car manufacturer as it brings them back to making SUVs, something that they had tried with the LM002. Lamborghini manufactured a total of 328 units between 1986 and 1993. The all-new Lamborghini Urus does not take anything from the LM002 as it is lighter and much more powerful than the later. In fact, at 3.6s to 100kmph, the Lamborghini Urus is the fastest SUV in the world, beating its luxurious cousin the Bentley Bentayga and also the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk. Under the hood of the Lamborghini Urus is a specially-developed 4.0 litre twin-turbo V8. This motor, equipped with variable valve timing and cylinder deactivation, makes 650PS at 6,000rpm and generates 850Nm of torque at 2,250 rpm.
