The following are the basic terms and conditions that you are agreeing to by participating at the India Superbike festival 2013 (“Event”). In these terms and conditions, " Participant" means any individual to whom space has been allocated for the purposes of showcasing their bike in the India Superbike Festival 2013. "The Organisers" means Network18 Publishing, a division of Network18 Media & Investments Limited & Axon1 events.
Completion of the Official Entry Form is essential. No participation will be permitted without furnishing of complete and correct information as sought. All entries accepted are subject to, and with acceptance of, these Event terms and conditions. All entries remain provisional until you register your bike(s) at the Event itself. All rights, title, claim and interest, including but not limited to the Intellectual Property Rights, in the promotional material(s)/activity and in any and all content received shall vest solely and exclusively with the Organisers at all times. Organisers or any person or entity permitted by the Organisers in this regard shall be entitled to the unrestricted use of the content received or any information in connection with the content in any media for future promotional, marketing, publicity and any other purpose, without any permission and/or payment to the Participant.
Bikes must be registered in advance of the event date, i.e., by 16th October, 2013. Allotment of space for the bikes is limited and subject to change, and registration can be closed without notice. Each bike will be issued an identifying number before their participation is confirmed. Bikes must be presented between 8:00am and 11:00pm on 19th & 20th October 2013.
The Organisers reserve the right to set a limit on the number of bikes any single Participant may enter. Please discuss with us in advance, and indicate planned number on the Official Entry Form.
Only 650cc and above bikes qualify for registration.
Participant should be above the age of 18 years, an Indian citizen and a resident of India. The decision to permit or decline participation for any reason, disclosed or undisclosed, is entirely and solely at the discretion of the Organisers and no correspondence or dialogue or any other form of communication or explanation for any such decisions will be entered or provided.
Specifically the Organisers reserve the right to deny participation to any participant and motorcycle on the grounds of decency related matters and taste. This includes the use and display of messages, forms of words, images or designs that are considered by the Organisers to be unsuitable; and to participant behaviour or behaviours that the Organisers, also at their sole discretion, deem inappropriate.
Where possible, all bikes will be photographed for use in future promotions of, but not limited to, the India Superbike Festival, 2013.
All Participants accept that copyright of all or any images or information concerning them or their bikes arising from their participation are the property of the Organisers, and that these may be shared with all or any other media. No Participant will be entitled to any royalty/payment from the Organisers for such exploitation.
Participation in the Event will constitute acceptance of these and all or any other rules or regulations pertaining to participation in, and operation of, the Event and the facility.
Participation in the India Superbike Festival, 2013 does not imply any involvement in or endorsement of any bike.
All Participants will be required to provide a brief technical specification of their entered bike(s) in advance, which will be used on the display placard identifying their bike. Please contact the Organisers if you intend to use any props to enhance the bike display, as only certain items will be permitted. Business cards for contact purposes can be placed on or next to the bike.
Bikes must remain in place until the show closes at 11.00 pm on October 20th , 2013.All costs connected with motorcycles appearing at, and being removed from the India Superbike Festival 2013 are entirely the responsibility of the Participant.
Each Participant exhibits their bike entirely at their own risk. The Participant is responsible for all claims arising from personal injury or damage arising in connection with entry to the exhibition and anything permitted, omitted or done thereon or there from during the period of the exhibition of the registration and removal periods caused directly or indirectly by the Participant or any contractor, subcontractor, servant, agent, licensee or invitee of his or the act, omission or neglect of such person, or by the exhibited motorcycle, machinery or other article of the Participant or any servant or agent of his. The Participant will indemnify the Organisers in respect of each and every such claim, and all actions, proceedings, claims and demands in respect of all such claims.
The Organisers will take such precautions as they may consider advisable for the precaution of all motorcycles exhibited, but will not at any time be responsible for the loss of, or damage to, or safety of any exhibited motorcycle, empty cases, tools or other property of the Participant or any other person under any circumstances whatsoever. All Participants will be expected to effect their own insurance against fire and loss and shall claim against such insurance wherever possible in priority to making any permitted claim against the Organisers.
In the event of any person sustaining loss, injury or damage by any machine, implement or article belonging to a participant, the said participant shall relieve the organisers of all claims, actions or suits made or expenses incurred in connection therewith.
The participant agrees to free the organisers of all responsibility for loss or damage arising directly through any Act of God, War, Strikes, Lockouts, Trade Disputes, Fire, Flood, Drought or from riots or similar commissions within or without the hall or premises, or any other causes beyond the organisers' control or owing to the inability to procure materials or articles except at enhanced prices due to any of the foregoing causes. Completion of the Official Entry Form indicates that you have read and understood the terms and conditions, and that you unconditionally accept them.
