Audi India's Facebook page now has more than 3 million fans

Audi India has garnered over three million 'likes' on its Facebook page. As of this moment, the Audi India FB page has 3,020,142 fans. This is also the highest number of fans on Facebook amongst the luxury car manufacturers in India with Mercedes at 1,198,420 and BMW at 2,420,379.

Funnily though, Audi has taken it celebration for 'Facebook likes' to Twitter. Audi India will be running a contest on Twitter where  four lucky winners will get 3 couple passes for the 'Above and Beyond' concert in Mumbai, set of Audi scale models, a coveted slot at the Audi driving experience at Buddh International Circuit in Greater Noida and one luxury gift item.

Audi India has always been known to have a bent focus towards attracting the youth. The advent of social media has only increased the number of ways in which luxury car manufacturers are trying to connect with customers and enthusists alike. From using the social media platform to announce new launches or holding contests or firing teasers, car brands are looking to make the most of the internet's reach.

Audi was last in the news for its latest launch, the A4 Celebration edition.  Limited to 500 units, the A4 Celebration is a slightly budgeted version that lets go of a few creature comforts. The features left out are glass sunroof, 17inch alloys, power mirrors, wood trims on dashboard, powered co-driver's seat, front parking senor and rear view camera. It comes with 16inch alloys, eight airbags, LED daytime running lamps, Bi-Xenon headlamps, Bluetooth-enabled music system and rear parking sensors.
