2019 Toyota Glanza: Detailed accessories list revealed

The Toyota Glanza is the Japanese car manufacturer's answer to the likes of the Hyundai i20, Honda Jazz and also the Maruti Suzuki Baleno. It is the first vehicle to be born out of symbiotic arrangement between both the automobile brands to develop vehicles together. The Toyota Glanza has been priced at Rs 7.21 lakh for the base variant whereas the top-spec variant is available at Rs 8.90 lakh. To keep it simple, the Toyota Glanza is offered in two trims, the G and the V grade which corresponds to the Zeta and the Alpha variants of the Baleno. Toyota dealerships across the country have already started accepting bookings for the same wherein deliveries will begin shortly.

In terms of design, the Toyota Glanza differentiates itself from the Maruti Suzuki Baleno only through the grille. The bumper design, side profile, alloy wheels, everything remains unchanged. The same is the case for the cabin design and features. In fact, the Toyota Glanza misses out on some options in the touchscreen infotainment system that is offered in the Baleno. Toyota India is offering a long list of accessories on the Glanza which include chrome door protectors, chrome insert on door visor, rear door chrome garnish, 3D trunk mat, scuff plate, mud guard, window sun shade, interior accents in blue or wooden, a variety of seat cover options that include Silver Carbon, Black with Silver outline, Rhombus Grid, Rising Line, Horizontal Lines, Black With Red Outline, V-Line Pattern, velvet seat cover, fabric seat cover and leather seat cover. Further, one can also avail the aero kit on the Toyota Glanza that includes front bumper spoiler, rear bumper spoiler and side skirt. The accessory list also covers car cushion, floor mat, bumper corner protector and Glanza branded body covers.

The engine on offer is the 1.2-litre petrol motor (K12B) which produces shy above 82PS. The engine will come mated to a five-speed manual and an optional CVT (continuously variable transmission) similar to the Baleno. The G MT trim gets the 90PS/113Nm whereas the other trims such as the G CVT, V MT and V CVT get the 83PS/113Nm engine.
