TVS Motor Company has added two new colours to one of its most popular offerings, the Radeon. These two new colors, Volcano Red and Titanium Grey are an addition to the already available four choices which are pearl white, metal black, golden beige and royal purple. The two new colours will be offered at the same price of Rs 50,070, ex-showroom Delhi. TVS introduced the Radeon in the Indian market seven months ago and since then, TVS has sold over one lakh units of the commuter motorcycle.

Commenting on the milestone, Aniruddha Haldar, vice president (Marketing) ? commuter motorcycles, scooters and corporate brand, TVS Motor Company, said, "TVS Radeon has been developed based on extensive customer understanding, which is deeply embedded in the motorcycle's usage-led design. Over the past months, TVS Radeon has witnessed a tremendous response from customers as well as received critical acclaim and multiple awards. TVS Radeon has stood for the 'buland' values and ambitions of an Indian man and its start has been nothing short of that. The motorcycle, with its stylish appearance and superior handling, has significantly upped the choice available for the everyday commuters."

The TVS Radeon is powered by a 110cc air-cooled engine that produces 8.4PS at 7,000rpm and 8.7Nm of torque at 5,000rpm. The motorcycle has been priced at Rs. 52,372 ex-showroom Mumbai and rivals that of the Bajaj Platina 110Honda Livo and the Hero Passion Pro 110. Recently, TVS updated their Apache series of motorcycles with supermoto ABS, and the TVS Victor was launched with a combined braking system.

In other news, TVS Motor Company has announced an investment of USD 3.85mn (approximately Rs 26.90 crore) in a start-up company called TagBox. The start-up deals in Internet of Things (IoT) based monitoring, advanced analytics and automation and control to make supply chains more reliable. The investment by TVS in the company comes in the form of Series A funding round which was led by TVS Motor Company Limited and its Singapore based subsidiary, TVS Motor (Singapore) Pte. Limited. TagBox plans to use the funds to strengthen product innovation and R&D while expanding its global footprint.
