BMW Motorrad started its official innings in India from April 2017. The company's portfolio starts at Rs 12.20 lakh with the recently launched F 750 GS and goes all the way upto Rs 28.30 lakh with the 1600 GTL. The company presently has dealerships at seven locations, namely Mumbai, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Pune, Delhi, Kochi and Chennai.

BMW G310 R and G310 GS to be launched around July-August 2018

We believe the main challenge for Markus Schramm will be the introduction of the BMW G 310 R along with the G 310 GS in India. Firstly, BMW Motorrad has to make sure that the sales experience that it offers for its premium range should be the same for its entry-level range too. Even the after sales support offered for the G 310 R and the G 310 GS will have to be strong and at a much larger scale. And lastly, BMW Motorrad will have to increase its dealership network to make sure that the company can accommodate the higher demands.

It is already known that the company plans to launch the G 310 R and the G 310 GS in India around July-August 2018. The BMW G310 R and the G310 GS are highly anticipated products and BMW is expected to price these motorcycles at a competitive price point, considering the price at which it launched the F 750 GS and F850 GS at Auto Expo 2018.
