The Bajaj Pulsar NS200 has been a popular and economical choice of the enthusiast for a long time in the country. That said, the bike has been getting timely updates to keep the competition spiced up. This time around the Pulsar NS200 seems like it will get a marginal update to its heart with a possible addition of a fuel-injection (Fi) system - similar to the one in the Pulsar RS200.

The Pulsar NS200 could get a fuel-injection system later this to make the motorcycle BSVI compliant, adhering to the stricter emission norms. The addition of the Fi system could bump the Pulsar NS200's power by 1PS. Currently, the Pulsar NS200 produces 23.5PS at 9,500rpm and a torque figure of 18.3Nm at 8,000rpm. The NS200 gets the triple spark technology which is expected to remain unchanged in the update.

The bike comes equipped with a single channel ABS (antilock braking system) with a 300mm disc in the front and a 230mm disc on the rear. With the update, the non-ABS version could be phased out.
Currently, the Bajaj Pulsar NS200 retails at Rs 1.11 lakh ex-showroom Mumbai, and the bike rivals the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V, KTM 200 Duke and the Yamaha FZ-25. The update could hike the price by Rs 5,000.
