The Twins FT is a custom-built flat track motorcycle by Royal Enfield, built in collaboration with Harris Performance and inputs from the Flat track racers.
We take a closer look at the newly imagined Twins FT in the official pictures by the manufacturer.
The chaps at Harris performance and Royal Enfield have derived an all-new motorcycle using minimum mechanical parts from the Interceptor 650
It uses a 650cc parallel-twin engine but has a bigger bore than the standard
The engine is housed in a bespoke twin-down pipe cradle chassis made out of brazed steel tube
The exhaust system is from S&S that gets custom fabrication to enhance performance as well as the looks
The telescopic forks in the front have been developed by Harris Performance
The flat tracker uses multi-spoke RSD rims
The RSD rims are shod with Dunlops flat track tyres
The braking unit - callipers and master cylinder are manufactured by Brembo
The foot pegs are custom-built to offer more grip to the rider
The motorcycle gets a custom swingarm with a monoshock absorber in the rear
The final drive ratio has been tweaked to suit the flat track
